The Problem
The Client needed to increase the availability of internal and external services. In particular, the facility needed new technologies to stay innovative in an ever-changing market. Specifically, Mobility, Automation, Digitization and Security were the pillars on which they wanted to innovate.
The challenge
The main stumbling block was related to the lack of dedicated IT infrastructure since the bank was using an Outsourcer for all core functions. This necessitated a complete overhaul of the Internal and External Network, DataCenter, and Collaboration environments.
Solution
We started from the network to build a new Hybrid-Cloud Datacenter on a VMWARE-Dell environment capable of hosting VDI - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure systems to ensure access in Smart Working and Mobility. Some processes have been redesigned by automating Helpdesk and IT Monitoring. A path of Continuous Backup and Busness in Cloud AWS has begun, and the network infrastructure has been replaced to make room for a Dell centrostella with 350x higher performance than the previous one.
At last BTV can work in Mobility and Security, being able to rely on an infrastructure open to all the needs of the future.
