Privacy Statement

Workteam values its Users' right to privacy. 

This Privacy Statement applies to all Websites and domains owned by Workteam s.r.l. (hereinafter, "the Workteam Websites") and sets forth the practices adopted with regard to privacy protection in accordance with Article 13 Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30.6.2003 (hereinafter, "Privacy Code") and Article 13 EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter, "GDPR"): specifically, it explains what data is collected and for what purposes, as well as how such data is processed and used. 

We encourage you, therefore, to read the following carefully before providing us with any personal information. By using the Workteam Websites and Products you are, in fact, consenting to the processing of your personal data by Workteam in accordance with the terms of this Statement. If you do not agree with the terms of this Statement please DO NOT use the Workteam Websites, Services or Products. 1. Collection of personal information 

To better serve and have a deeper understanding of its Users' needs and interests, Workteam collects, exports, and uses personal information after submitting appropriate disclosures and obtaining explicit consent. For example, when placing orders for products or services, requesting information, subscribing to support and marketing materials, registering or registering Workteam products, it is necessary to provide personal information to complete the registration process. Personal data that, in these cases, may be requested include: contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number, and e-mail address), information such as personal codes and passwords, data to enable billing and various transactions, and preferences regarding products and services. If you post, comment or share any personal information, including photographs, on any Workteam forum, social network, blog or other similar forum, you should be aware that such personal information may be read, viewed, collected or used by other Users of such blogs and virtual communities and could be used to contact you, send you unsolicited messages or for purposes over which neither you nor Workteam has control. Workteam is not responsible for personal information that the User chooses to submit to such forums.

 

1.1 Registration 

During registration, personal information may be requested: name, company e-mail address, company phone number, and choice of a password. Workteam sends each visitor and/or customer a welcome e-mail, asking them to verify the e-mail address provided. It is very important to enter a valid e-mail, as purchase confirmations, download links, activation keys, product and support information will be sent to this address. If an e-mail address is invalid, the associated password may be disabled by Workteam. 


1.2 Purchase 

When you purchase a product or service on the Workteam Websites, you are asked for contact, billing, and shipping information. This information will be used to process the order, to make payment, and to ship the products ordered. If any problems occur during the purchase process, a Workteam representative will contact the User via email and phone or mail in order to resolve them. It is useful to specify that during transactions, no Credit Card numbers are recorded and essential data (Credit Card numbers, validation number, etc.) are handled entirely by PayPal (for more information regarding transaction security and Privacy policy adopted, please visit www.paypal.com). In case Workteam uses other merchants for transactions (such as Stripe or similar) the appropriate merchant will notify their privacy policies during the purchase process. 


1.3 Downloading 

When you download an ebook, marketing document, or any other digital asset available on Workteam sites, you may be asked for personal information such as your e-mail address. In the event, that e-mail address will be used to send messages related to the procedure, such as download links or other marketing information. 


1.4 Surveys and Quizzes 

Workteam may post online interactive quizzes i to propose more specific services or conduct surveys among its Users and, for this, request specific information. Participation in such events is voluntary and the information collected will be treated in accordance with the specific Policies presented. In any case, if the result of a survey or quiz is published, no personal data will be disclosed without the explicit consent of the persons concerned. 


1.5 Data from sites, emails, and apps In addition to the information provided

Workteam may also collect data during your visit to a Workteam Web Site through commonly used automated tools such as, for example, cookies, Web beacons, and embedded links. These tools collect certain standard information about the traffic your browser sends to Workteam Websites, such as, for example, browser type and language, time of access, and address of the website from which you arrived. Information may also be collected about your Internet Protocol (IP) address, clickstream behavior (i.e., pages visited, links opened, and other actions taken by you in connection with the Workteam Websites), and product information. Finally, Workteam may also use some of the automatic data collection tools listed above to analyze its own applications and the e-mail messages it sends: in this way, it may, for example, collect information about application usage, message opening, or clicks on links in those messages. 2. How the information collected is used 

The information collected by Workteam is used without the express consent of the User (art. 24 lett. a), b), c) Privacy Code and art. 6 lett. b), e) GDPR), for various purposes including, for example: 

a. Assist the User in completing a transaction or order; 

b. fulfill pre-contractual, contractual and tax obligations arising from existing relationships with you; 

c. provide technical support and customer service; Information collected by Workteam is used with specific and separate consent (Articles 23 and 130 Privacy Code and Article 7 GDPR), for various purposes including, for example: 

  1. Present products and services to the User; 
  2. Provide customized promotional offers; 
  3. Solicit opinions or feedback from the customer and offer them the opportunity to try software 
  4. Research and implement product enhancements and upgrades 
  5. Allow the User to refer a friend (Refer-a-Friend) who may be interested in our offerings, as permitted by law 
  6. Select the content to be presented to the User; 
  7. Measure the performance of Workteam's marketing, advertising, and Web site initiatives. 
  8. Carry out Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting activities. 

The provision of data for the purposes mentioned in point 1 is mandatory. In their absence, Workteam will not be able to guarantee its services. On the other hand, the provision of data for the purposes set out in point 2 is optional. The User may therefore decide not to provide any data or to subsequently deny the possibility of processing data already provided: in this case, he/she will not be able to receive newsletters, commercial communications and advertising material related to the Services offered by Workteam. However, he/she will continue to be entitled to the Services referred to in point 1. 

Specifically, Workteam may use the personal information collected to periodically contact the User in order to send him/her important information about its Products, Services and/or Websites. Only at the specific request of the User, Workteam may also send newsletters that are informative, with special offers and/or with other opportunities offered by partner companies that may be of interest to the User.

 The User can choose which types of communications to receive from Workteam and revoke their consent at any time through their online User Profile. 

In addition, if the User no longer wishes to receive these communications, he/she may unsubscribe (art. 130 c. 4 Privacy Code) by clicking on the appropriate link contained directly in the message of the e-mails sent to him/her. After the cancellation request, the User's e-mail address will be removed from Workteam's mailing list as soon as possible, normally before the next mailing. No further commercial communications will be sent: however, service communications, e.g., regarding ongoing transactions, may be sent when necessary. 

 

3. Method of treatment. 

The processing of personal data is carried out by means of the operations indicated in Art. 4 (Privacy Code) and Art. 4 No. 2 (GDPR), namely: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data. The User's personal data are subject to both paper and electronic and/or automated processing. Workteam will process personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the above purposes, e.g., to maintain the ongoing business relationship, to provide you with the products, services or information to which you are entitled, etc. 


4. Disclosure of information collected 

Without the necessity of express consent (ex art. 24 lett. a), b), d) of the Privacy Code and art. 6 lett. b) and c) of the GDPR the User's data may be made accessible for the purposes mentioned in paragraph 2: 

  • to Workteam employees and collaborators in Italy and abroad, in their capacity as internal data processors and/or system administrators; 
  • to third party companies or other entities (by way of example, credit institutions, professional firms, consultants, etc.) that perform outsourced activities on behalf of Workteam, in their capacity as external data processors. Workteam does not sell, rent, transfer or assign its Users' personal information to third parties, except as indicated in this Statement or to comply with legal obligations. 

Workteam may share some information with its partners for marketing or promotional purposes: in these cases, data will only and always be provided in aggregate form so as not to allow linkage to personally identifiable data. 

The profile and contributions of Users on the Workteam Websites will be published and will be identifiable by the User's name expressed in one of the forms provided, at the User's choice. In any case, Workteam will not communicate the e-mail address or other data of a registered User to other Users of the Site, much less display them publicly without prior authorization from the User. 


5. Links to other websites 

The Workteam Websites may contain links to third-party websites for informational purposes. Workteam does not control such external websites or their conduct with respect to Privacy. For these reasons, external websites are not covered by this Privacy Statement. Workteam therefore encourages Users to carefully review the privacy policy and settings of the websites and social media sites with which it interacts to ensure that it understands what information might be shared by those sites. 

 

6. Cookies and registration on sites 

Cookies are small information files sent from a web server to a web browser, which allow the server to collect information from the browser. Workteam and its service providers send cookies when you visit Workteam Websites as well as websites where its advertisements are displayed, make purchases, register for certain services, or request information. Through cookies, Workteam does not collect personal information but only useful data to facilitate login processes for Users, to enable the Websites to keep track of products that have been added to the shopping cart, country, language and currency of preference. Finally, cookies are used by access statistics services enabled on Workteam Websites. If the User does not wish to receive cookies, he or she may block them or request that a warning be sent to him or her in advance, following the procedures specified by the web browser installed on his or her computer. For more information on how to manage Cookies in your browser, please refer to: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Windows Explorer and Edge. However, setting these blocks may cause the browser to react inappropriately, not only when the User visits Workteam Websites, but also when the User visits others. Therefore, since cookies do not allow Workteam to identify Users, it is suggested that you accept that they are installed in order to take full advantage of the functionality of the Websites. 7. Consent to the use of cookies 

As required by current regulations, the Web Site has a brief information on the use of cookies displayed on each first access page via a dynamic banner. By scrolling down the page, clicking on one of the internal links on the pages, or clicking on the "Accept" button on the dynamic banner, you give your consent for the use of cookies. 

 

8. Use of Cookies on Workteam Sites 

8.1 Technical Cookies The Workteam Websites use the following technical cookies, which are automatically installed following access to the site, for the purposes indicated in relation to each of them: Session cookies necessary for the operation and delivery of site services Statistical cookies used to collect information in aggregate form.

AdRoll Remarketing is a Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting service provided by AdRoll Inc. that links this Application's activity with the Adwords advertising network and the Doubleclick Cookie.

Privacy Policy - Opt Out By not interacting with the consent forms provided by the aforementioned third parties, by exiting this policy, closing it, or continuing to browse the Site, you are expressing your consent to the use of all cookies mentioned. 


9. Accessing, updating or correcting Customer Data 

The User may review and update the personal information provided during registration by directly accessing his/her User Profile online. In any case to modify, correct, anonymize or delete his/her data, the User may send an e-mail to Workteam Customer Service(privacy@workteam.it) or send a letter to: Workteam S.R.L. - Customer Service via Giuseppe Garibaldi 15-17, Casalecchio di Reno, 40033 (BO) Italy.


10. Protection of personal information 

To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure and ensure the protection and proper use of personal information stored in its systems, Workteam takes the necessary physical, technical, and administrative measures. For example, access to personal information is limited to only those employees who are reasonably believed to have a need to access it, and processes such as password hashing are employed to protect data from unauthorized access. All Credit Card transactions made on the Websites are protected by encryption: Workteam uses the Secure Socket Layer, SSL protocol. No Credit Card numbers are recorded, and even during the transaction, essential data (Credit Card numbers, validation number, etc.) are handled entirely by PayPal and Stripe, (for more information, visit www.paypal.com, www.stripe.com). Workteam utilizes some sub-integrators, vendors and content distribution networks (ex: Service Data Storage, Mail Marketing, Payment Gateway, etc.) to assist it in providing its services. Workteam requires its sub-processors to meet obligations equivalent to those required by Workteam and in accordance with the GDPR. While Workteam takes technical and organizational measures to protect Users' personal information from unauthorized or unlawful processing and from loss, destruction, or damage of data, Workteam cannot absolutely guarantee the security of this information. 

 

11. Privacy of minors 

Workteam does not knowingly collect information about children under the age of 13, and its Websites are intended for an adult audience interested in professional services. In the event that a child, whom Workteam knows to be under 13 years of age, submits personal information, the data collected will be used only to respond directly to that child and to inform him or her of the need to obtain consent from his or her parents/guardians. Workteam encourages parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests. 


12. User's privacy rights 

In your capacity as a data subject, you have the rights set forth in Art. 7 Privacy Code and Art. 15 GDPR and specifically the rights to: (a) to request to provide information regarding the Personal Data processed concerning him or her; (b) to rectify, update or supplement inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data concerning him or her; (c) to delete or request deletion of Personal Data concerning him or her; (d) in certain circumstances to restrict the manner in which Workteam processes Personal Data concerning him or her; and (e) to revoke any consent that the User has granted to Workteam to process Personal Data concerning him or her; f) to object to the processing of Personal Data about him or her based on the legitimate interests of third parties; g) to obtain portability of Personal Data about him or her that Workteam processes using automated means on the basis of his or her consent or a contract that he or she has entered into with Workteam; h) in the European Economic Area, file a privacy breach complaint with a supervisory authority if the User is dissatisfied with the way Workteam has handled his or her Personal Data or any request about User's privacy. 

 

13. Changes to the Privacy Statement 

If it deems it appropriate, Workteam reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. In the event of changes, The Updated Statement will be posted on the Workteam Websites with the new revision date so that all Users can be informed about how the data collected is used, and under what circumstances it may be disclosed. If the User continues to access or use the Web Site after such publication, it is assumed that the User has accepted these changes. The User is advised to check this document periodically for changes. Workteam also reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to remove or make changes or updates to the Web Site and its Content. Workteam reserves the right at any time, effective immediately, without prior notice, in its sole discretion and for any reason whatsoever, to restrict, refuse or terminate, in whole or in part, access to the Web Site, or any part thereof, by any User. 

14. Language of these Terms of Use. 

If Workteam provides a translation of the Italian language version of this Privacy Statement, you agree that such translation is provided for your convenience only and that your contractual relationship with Workteam will be governed by the Italian language versions. If there are inconsistencies between the Italian language version of the Privacy Statement and the translation, the Italian language version shall prevail.
